How To Screenshoot in Windows

To take a screenshot in Windows, you can use the built-in screenshot tool called Snipping Tool or the Snip & Sketch app. Here are the steps:

  1. Snipping Tool:

    • Open the Snipping Tool by searching for it in the Start Menu or the search bar.
    • Click on "New" to start a new screenshot.
    • Select the area of the screen you want to capture.
    • Once you have selected the area, the screenshot will be displayed in the Snipping Tool window.
    • Click on "File" and select "Save As" to save the screenshot.
  2. Snip & Sketch:

    • Press the Windows key + Shift + S to open Snip & Sketch.
    • Select the type of screenshot you want to take (rectangular, freeform, full-screen, or window).
    • Select the area of the screen you want to capture.
    • Once you have selected the area, the screenshot will be copied to the clipboard.
    • Open an image editor, such as Paint or Microsoft Word, and paste the screenshot into the document.
    • Save the document to save the screenshot.

You can also use the Print Screen key on your keyboard to capture a screenshot of the entire screen. The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard, and you can paste it into an image editor or document to save it.
